Wetherby Runners AC — a run club in Wetherby. England Athletics affiliated club. Activities: cross country, hill fell, road running, track field, trail running.
Senior club training nights are Monday at 18:00 and Wednesday at 19:00 at the clubhouse, with runners divided into ability groups at the start of the evening. Specific sessions include fartlek, pyramid, hill and speed work, and more competitive members compete in the West Yorkshire Cross Country League, the Harrogate and District Summer Road Race League and PECO cross country. Changing rooms, showers and a bar are available at Wetherby Sports Association. Newcomers are invited to come along on a Wednesday night; joining is done through the SiEntries website. Annual membership from 1 April 2026 is £40 for senior first claim members and £23 for senior second claim members, juniors and concessions, including Wetherby Sports Association membership. Membership also gives England Athletics affiliation (£2 discount per race entry) and 10% off at Up and Running stores.
