Terms of service.

These terms ("Terms") govern your use of the JOG mobile app and joglabs.co.uk (together, the "Service"), operated by JOG Labs, United Kingdom. By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use JOG. If you're under 18 you confirm that a parent or guardian has agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

2. Your account

You're responsible for activity on your account. Keep your login credentials secure. Don't share your account, impersonate anyone, or sign up under a false identity.

3. Run clubs and physical activity

JOG helps you discover and connect with run clubs, but every run you attend is at your own risk. We are not the organiser of any run-club meetup; we provide a platform for hosts to publish runs and for runners to find them.

• You are responsible for your own fitness, safety and decision to participate in any run.
• Hosts are responsible for the runs they organise. JOG does not vet hosts beyond a basic verification step.
• Always consult a doctor before starting a new physical activity if you have any health concerns.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for unlawful purposes or to harm others.
• Post spam, harassment, hate speech, or sexually explicit content in club chats or club listings.
• Impersonate other users or hosts.
• Attempt to break, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the Service.
• Scrape or copy club listings for commercial use without permission.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these rules.

5. User content

You retain ownership of content you post (club photos, messages, profile info). By posting, you grant JOG a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display and distribute that content as part of the Service.

Don't post content you don't have the rights to share.

6. Loyalty rewards and affiliate links

Some clubs offer loyalty rewards — attend a set number of runs, unlock a reward. Where rewards are delivered through affiliate links, the merchant providing the reward is solely responsible for it. JOG may earn a commission when you redeem an affiliate offer; this is always disclosed in the app.

JOG does not guarantee that any specific reward will be available, fulfilled, or honoured by the merchant.

7. Intellectual property

The JOG name, logo, and app are owned by JOG Labs. You may not use them without permission, except as needed to refer to the Service.

8. Service availability

We do our best to keep JOG running smoothly, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may change, suspend or discontinue features at any time.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, JOG Labs is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including injury sustained at a run-club meetup, content posted by other users, or third-party affiliate offers.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under English law.

10. Termination

You can delete your account at any time from inside the app. We may terminate or suspend your account if you breach these Terms or use the Service in a way that creates risk for us or other users.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms occasionally. If we make material changes we'll notify you in-app or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept them.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
