Run club in Uttoxeter
Uttoxeter Road Runners is a small club of 70-80 members in Uttoxeter, Staffordshire, open to runners aged 16 and over with a mix of abilities. It is predominantly a road running club, especially in winter, with regular off-road and trail runs in the summer. Group runs take place on three nights a week, with runners split into pace groups led by club run leaders who are LiRF qualified where possible.
Weekly sessions include a Tuesday run from the Lidl car park with three pace groups, and a more relaxed, social Thursday trail run with several distance and pace options, meeting at varying locations from spring to late summer. New for 2026, one Monday a month the club uses Denstone College track for a warm-up, tempo session and cool-down in two groups, open to all abilities. The club also runs its own Club Championship race series, a parkrun Championship series, and competes in the Burton and District Summer League. A Couch to 5k beginners course runs every January, followed by a 5k to 10k course targeting the club's Festival of Running 10k. Places on runs are booked through the Team Stack App; members should remove themselves if they cannot attend. A membership form is available on the site.
