Run club in Heanor
Smalley Road Runners is an England Athletics affiliated running club based in Heanor/Smalley, Derbyshire, founded in 2007 and a registered charity since 2020. It has over 300 members of all abilities, from Couch to 5K beginners to ultra runners. Evening club sessions are split into five ability groups, each with leaders, co-leaders and support runners so that no one is left behind.
Tuesday and Thursday evening sessions are run in five ability groups: beginners, Inters B, Inters A, Advanced B and Advanced A. Sessions are led by England Athletics trained coaches and run leaders, with co-leaders trained by Jog Derbyshire. Membership affiliation runs from 1 April to 30 March; details are on the club's Join Us page.
