Run club in Leicester
Leicester Coritanian Athletic Club is an athletics club founded in 1969, based at Saffron Lane Athletics Stadium in Leicester. Alongside track and field, it caters for endurance running, including 800m to 10,000m track events, road running from 5K to marathon, and cross country. It is open to adults and younger athletes of all abilities, with coached sessions and a competitive focus.
Club training takes place on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 18:00 to 20:00 all year round except October, and is open to all competitive age groups and abilities. Running-related groups cover endurance events (800m, 1500m, 5000m, 10,000m, steeplechase), road running as a club on the streets of Leicester, and cross country; the endurance side is led by coach Bill Winter, who coaches all events from 800m up to cross country.
