Training runs are held on Monday and Wednesday at 19:00 from Higham Cricket Club, just off Higham Common Road. Weekend runs are arranged on an ad hoc basis at varying start locations when members are not racing, announced via the Kingstone Runners Facebook group, and extra training is sometimes organised by members targeting races such as the Great North Run or London Marathon. Members race at distances from 5K to marathon and beyond, including local races such as the Wombwell 5, Barnsley 10K, Travellers 6, the Trunce, road and cross-country leagues, and selected races count towards a club championship; as an England Athletics affiliated club there is a £2 discount on many race entries.
