Kendal Amateur Athletic Club โ a run club in LANCASTER. England Athletics affiliated club. Activities: cross country, hill fell, race walking, road running, track field.
Training is split into winter (September to Easter) and summer (Easter onwards) timetables. Winter senior/adult running sessions: Monday 18:00-19:00 XC and road at Endmoor Village Hall LA8 0HQ (no cost, coach Steve Priestley); Tuesday 18:00-19:30/20:00 XC, road and endurance at The Queen Katherine School, Kendal (seniors coached by Stuart McGurk, ยฃ2.25); Thursday 18:00-19:00/19:30 track and field endurance at Salt Ayre Leisure Centre track, Lancaster LA1 5JS (ยฃ2.25). Summer sessions: Monday 18:00-19:00 XC and endurance at Endmoor Village Hall (no cost); Tuesday 18:00-19:00/19:30 senior road/endurance and 19:00-20:15 track and field at The Queen Katherine School (ยฃ2.25); Wednesday fell running with Matt Wilson, details posted on the club website/Facebook (no cost); Thursday endurance and track and field at Salt Ayre, Lancaster (ยฃ2.25). High-visibility clothing is required for winter road sessions. Membership runs 1 April to 31 March and can be joined at any time using the membership form on the join page; First Claim Competing Member ยฃ40 (includes the ยฃ20 England Athletics competition licence), non-competing or second claim ยฃ15, with a family discount of ยฃ35 for additional competing members after the first two.
