Run club in GRAVESEND
Harvel Hash House Harriers (H4) is a small, informal hashing and running club based in Harvel Village on the North Downs in Kent. Members take part in hashing, road running and off-road running over a range of distances, and the club says it welcomes runners of any ability. A typical Tuesday club night is a group run from Harvel Cricket Club with several pace options.
The regular club run is every Tuesday from 19:00 at Harvel Cricket Club, usually with three groups: a walk/slow jog group of 1 to 3 miles, an easy paced group of 5 to 6 miles and a slightly faster group of 6 to 7 miles, subject to change. Hashes take place at 11:00 on the first Sunday of each month and are typically 4 to 6 miles with plenty of stops; hash locations can change, so the club asks people to get in touch before attending. New attendees are asked to contact the club beforehand to discuss and confirm their running ability. The club also has a membership secretary and organises cross country, a London Marathon committee and social and charity activities. No membership cost is stated on the site.
