Run club in Aylesford
Larkfield Athletic Club is an over-18 running club formed in 2001, based at Larkfield Leisure Centre near Aylesford. Members run on road and off road, and some also take part in duathlons and triathlons. Typical sessions include a Tuesday club run, a coached track session and varied Thursday and weekend runs.
Sessions include the Tuesday club run from Larkfield Leisure Centre, a Wednesday track session at Sutton Valence School, and Thursday and weekend sessions at varying local locations that are publicised in advance. Thursday night sessions are described as suitable for all abilities. A 0-5K beginners course runs several times a year and costs £51, which includes one year's membership. Membership for new members in 2026/2027 is £51 and covers England Athletics affiliation, weekly club runs, entry to Saturday and Sunday cross country races, coached track sessions, coached cycle sessions, subsidised swim sessions, kit and social events. To join, turn up to a training session or email larkfieldac@gmail.com, then complete the online membership form and pay the fee. Outside the 0-5K course the club recommends being able to run a continuous 5K before joining road runs or track sessions. England Athletics affiliated club.
