Ealing Eagles is a running club based in Ealing, West London, with more than 700 members ranging from complete beginners to experienced marathon runners. It runs social club runs, coached interval and hill sessions, and informal daytime and weekend runs, and takes part in parkrun, summer leagues, cross country, relays and national events. The club also organises its own 10K and Track Mile and supports the Ealing Half Marathon.
Monday and Wednesday evening club runs start at Ealing Green at 19:30 with a choice of short or long route (winter: 3.75 mi / 6 km or 4.75 mi / 7.6 km; summer: 3.3 mi / 5.3 km or 5.3 mi / 8.5 km), with tail runners and a group cool-down; to join these runs you should be able to run the short route of about 5.5 km / 3.5 miles continuously at any pace. Tuesday evening track and intervals are held at Perivale Track, with a coach-led club session at 19:30 open to all paces and a self-led advanced session at 19:00 for runners with recent 5k times under 19 minutes (men) or 20 minutes (women); advanced session enquiries go to coaching@ealingeagles.com or clubcaptain@ealingeagles.com. In summer some Tuesday sessions move to Ealing parks. Other sessions include Monday morning variety (intervals/hills rotation), Wednesday 07:00 Early Bird Intervals in Blondin Park during lighter months, informal 10k at 10 runs on Tuesday and Friday mornings, Thursday morning self-led runs, self-led Thursday evening hills organised via a WhatsApp group, and a self-led 10-mile run from Ealing Green on Sunday mornings. A Beginners Programme supports those working towards a continuous 5km. Session details and sign-ups are posted on the Spond app, with routes on the members' area (The Eagles Nest). Annual membership is £49, including the £19 England Athletics affiliation fee; club kit is not included.
