Run club in Coventry
Coventry Triathletes is a triathlon club based in Coventry with members across Warwickshire and the West Midlands, running weekly coached and social sessions including a regular club run. It is open to people new to triathlon as well as experienced athletes, and describes itself as welcoming, inclusive and encouraging. The weekly run session is an uncoached one-hour group run led by a club member, starting from War Memorial Park.
Running provision is a weekly members-only run session on Tuesday evenings, 18:30–19:30, which is free and uncoached: a one-hour session led by one of the club members. Runners meet at the height-restricted barrier at the entrance to the main War Memorial Park car park on Kenilworth Road. Membership is handled through the online TeamUp system, which is also used for session bookings and payments; adult/senior membership is £25 per calendar year and concessionary membership (student, unemployed, retired) is £15 per calendar year, with a discount code available from the membership secretary. England Athletics/UKA membership is optional and can be added later through TeamUp; it is required to represent the club as first claim club in UKA events such as the cross country league and road races.
