Northbrook Athletic Club — a run club in Coventry. England Athletics affiliated club. Activities: cross country, hill fell, road running, track field. RunAndTalk club (mental-health friendly).
Weekly sessions include Monday mixed-ability runs at 18:00 (War Memorial Park Park and Ride or Warwick University running track) and 18:30 (Jaguar Sports and Social Club), Wednesday sessions at 19:00 from the Jaguar Sports and Social Club split into four levels (Level 1 up to 10 miles for sub-21-minute 5k runners; Level 2 up to 8 miles for 21-24 minutes; Level 3 up to 7 miles for 24-30 minutes; Level 4 up to 5 miles for 30-35 minutes), and a Thursday 5k to 10k Improvers Group / Winter Run Together mixed-ability session at 18:30 from War Memorial Park or Allesley Park car park. Training is for members only, but prospective members can try one or two sessions first by contacting the club through the Contact Us page. Membership for 2026 is £53.00 first claim and £30.00 second claim, both including a club vest, with concessionary rates on the application form; joining is by Membership Application Form. First claim members are registered with England Athletics. Anyone using the Jaguar Sports and Social Club facilities, including the car park, must also take out Associate Membership of that club. The club runs its own Coventry Northbrook 10K in July, a summer handicap series, cross-country and parkrun Grand Prix competitions, and has a kit shop and welfare officers.
