Run club in CAMBERLEY
Camberley & District Athletic Club is a track and field and cross country club based at King's International College and the Royal Military Academy in Camberley, Surrey. It is organised into event groups including sprints, middle distance, throws and jumps, alongside age-group sessions for younger athletes, and is run by an elected committee with volunteer coaches and officials. Much of the website content is aimed at junior athletes and their parents, with a separate Seniors section.
Training takes place on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at two venues: King's International College, Watchetts Drive, Camberley GU15 2PQ, and the Royal Military Academy, Camberley GU15 4PQ. Under the Summer 2026 schedule (from Thursday 9 April) the event groups meet at the RMA, with sprints arriving 18:45 for 19:00โ20:00 and middle distance arriving 18:45 for 19:00โ20:15; throws and jumps groups also train, and age-group sessions for Year 5 and Year 6/7 run on King's playing fields. For the RMA, use the Yorktown Road entrance, carry ID for the guards and keep to the 20mph site limit. In winter, sessions move to the school sports hall or gymnasium, or the RMA. Athletes are asked to bring shorts and T-shirt, joggers and an outer layer, a waterproof jacket, trainers (spikes if applicable), a drink and a glow-in-the-dark vest (available from the club). Coaches may add sessions at weekends or in holidays, or cancel at their discretion. The site lists Membership and Seniors pages, and enquiries are made through the website contact form; some age groups have a waiting list. The club also organises the Camberley 10K Julian Farrell Memorial race and the Camberley Open Cross Country. England Athletics affiliated club.
