Run club in Sandhurst
Sandhurst Joggers is a community running club of over 35 years standing, serving runners in Sandhurst, Crowthorne and Yateley. It is open to members of all abilities, from complete novices to experienced and competitive runners. Weekly sessions cover steady, multi-pace, tempo, interval, track and off-road running, and the club also takes part in competitions such as the Thames Valley Cross-Country league and its own Yateley 10k.
Listed weekly running sessions are a Monday steady run, a Tuesday multi-pace run, Yateley road intervals, a Wednesday tempo run, Friday track and a Sunday off-road run; start times are not given on the pages provided, and the club calendar has details. Beginners can join the Pure Beginners course, a 9-week Tuesday group starting in late April and running to mid-June, meeting outside the Main Hall at Sandhurst Memorial Park at 18:00, with sessions of 40 minutes to an hour including warm-up, main session and cool-down, limited to 30 places on a first come first served basis and finishing with a 5k parkrun at Sandhurst Memorial; register interest at purebeginners@sandhurstjoggers.org.uk, with payment required in advance and the fee including club membership to 31 March the following year. Runners returning after a break are advised to try the Tuesday multi-pace group (contacting the run leader first) or to come to Sandhurst Memorial parkrun. Membership for 2026-27 is £24.00 per year from 1 April, reduced to £12.00 if joining after 1 January, handled through MemberMojo; England Athletics registration is an optional extra at £23.00 per year.
