Run club in Wadebridge
Wadebridge Running Club is a community running club based in Wadebridge, Cornwall, running on the coast, trails and lanes around the town. It welcomes members at all levels, from first-time runners to those training for races, and states there is no pace or distance requirement. Sessions range from structured intervals to paced social road runs and progressive coastal trail runs.
Three regular sessions run each week: Monday intervals, coached with a warm-up, a 20โ25 minute main set and a cool-down run back to the start; the Wednesday social, split into six pace groups from 7-minute miles down to a walk/run group, each running for 45 minutes; and the Sunday coastal session, a progressive trail run whose location changes weekly and which resets every 4โ5 weeks. Sunday locations are posted on the club's Facebook page and the Sunday Locations page of the website. The club also periodically holds Friday evening "Dash-Bash" runs during British Summer Time, with a social run for all abilities followed by food and drinks locally, announced on the Facebook group. Run leaders cover pace groups from 7:00 min/mile through to walk/run. The club has a membership secretary who is the contact point for prospective members and handles membership fees and renewals; the site does not state the fee amount. England Athletics affiliated club.
