The University of Toronto Track Club (UTTC) is a non-profit competitive athletics club founded in 1971, offering developmental and high-performance track and field and cross-country programs. It operates at the University of Toronto in conjunction with the U of T Varsity track and field and cross-country programs, with squads for varsity athletes, other university students and senior club members. Training is competition-focused, built around track and cross-country racing, and entry is by invitation and trial.
Programs run at the University of Toronto alongside the U of T Varsity track and field and cross-country teams, and cover both developmental and high-performance athletes. The published summer session (mid-April to August) is priced at $200 for current U of T Varsity athletes (including twilight meets at U of T and York), $250 plus membership for UTTC Senior athletes from other universities (who must also buy a facility membership), and $300 for U of T students not on the varsity team. Registration is by invitation and trial only, and is handled through the U of T recreation registration system; an enquiry form and contact details are on the club website. The club also hosts its own track events, such as its annual 800m Night at Varsity Centre, and sells club kit through an online shop.
