Run club in SWINDON
Slinn Allstars is a Swindon-based running club, established in January 2008 and affiliated to England Athletics (club number 2662447). It is open to runners of all ages and abilities, with over 150 members and up to 75 people attending a training night. Group runs cover routes of roughly three to thirteen miles on lanes, roads, tracks and country parks around Swindon.
The club meets on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays; the Join Us page also refers to meeting twice a week with details on a separate training nights page (no times given on the site). New members should be able to run for about 30 minutes, or 5k without stopping to join the main club directly; those who cannot yet do so can start with the club's beginners course. A beginners course, training plans and personal training information are signposted on the site, and the club promotes parkrun at Lydiard Park and Seven Fields on Saturdays at 09:00. Membership includes England Athletics registration, giving discounted road race entry, regional championship access, subsidised training events and a RUNSwindon discount loyalty card.
