Stoke F.I.T โ a run club in Stoke-On-Trent. England Athletics affiliated club. Activities: cross country, hill fell, race walking, road running, track field, trail running. RunAndTalk club (mental-health friendly).
Club runs take place on Monday and Wednesday evenings, with group options of 3 miles, 4 to 5 miles, 6 to 7 miles and 8 or more miles; designated muster points are used along routes so no one is left behind. Mondays run from both sites (meet 18:20, run 18:30); Wednesdays run from Old Sal, Longton (meet 18:20, run 18:30) and Baddeley Green (meet 18:45, run 18:55). Days and times may change, so the club asks people to make contact in advance. The club is UKA affiliated with qualified Leaders in Running Fitness on every session, and members receive discounted entry to UKA affiliated races plus free BMI checks. A "couch potato to Potter" beginners' course aimed at completing the local Potter's Arf half marathon starts early in the new year. Circuit training is also listed alongside running.
