Run club in Twickenham
St Mary's Richmond AC is a track and field athletics club based at St Mary's University in Twickenham, formerly known as Richmond & Twickenham AC. It offers coached groups in all track and field events for athletes aged 10 and up, including adult sprints, middle distance and endurance running. Members train on the track midweek and at weekends and compete in league, championship and cross country fixtures.
Training runs all year round, including school holidays; cancellations are communicated to members by email. Adult track groups cover sprints, middle distance and endurance, alongside hurdles, jumps and throws, and there is a junior section for Years 6-9. Members compete in the Southern Athletics League, Youth Development League and Rosenheim League, plus county, area and national championships, and in winter in the Metropolitan cross country league and championship races. Members of running clubs such as Ranelagh Harriers or the Stragglers may join and compete on the track for the club provided they do not compete on track for another club.
