Run club in Chesterfield
North Derbyshire Running Club (NDRC) is a community running club based in Chesterfield, covering road, fell and cross country running over short and long distances. It describes itself as open to all abilities, whether members want to run fast or slow. Typical sessions are weekday evening club runs of about an hour from Queen's Park Leisure Centre and other local start points, alongside track, interval and social runs.
The calendar shows regular weekday evening sessions: Monday club runs (Grassmoor/Glassmoor Country Park and Queen's Park Leisure Centre), Tuesday "Efforts" and Tuesday Track sessions led by named members, a Wednesday club run at 18:00 described as "continual" plus a 18:30 club run from Queen's Park Leisure Centre, Thursday social runs from Queen's Park Leisure Centre and "Jeffing" run/walk interval training at Tapton Lock, and a Saturday social at parkrun (the Black Rocks entry is listed on the site as 21:00, which appears inconsistent). The club also takes part in cross country, a parkrun league and fell running, and organises its own races including the Bolsover 10K and "No Walk in the Park" (3 October 2026). It is the official community running club for the Chesterfield Redbrik 10K. Membership details, club kit ordering and a contact page are on the website; no fees are stated in the text. England Athletics affiliated club.
