Run club in Kettering
Kettering Town Harriers is an athletics club founded in 1894, based at a synthetic track in Kettering, with over 300 members competing in cross country, road running and track and field. Membership ranges from novice joggers to national-level athletes, aged from 9 to 80. Alongside track and field groups, the club runs Road Running and Jogging groups that train on the track and around the local area.
Club nights are Tuesday and Thursday at the track, with members meeting between 17:00 and 20:30 and training in their respective groups either on the track or around the local area. Road Running and Jogging groups train on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, and there is social running and racing most weekends. Coaching is provided by qualified coaching staff throughout the year. Full membership is available from age 9 upwards; the website has Membership, Beginners and "About Joggers" sections, and enquiries can be made through the Contact Us page. Membership Secretary: Wendy Reading. The club also competes in local and national events from 5k to marathon, plus track and field and cross country fixtures. England Athletics affiliated club.
