Membership costs ยฃ17 a year and includes free weekly training sessions led by England Athletics / UKA qualified coaches and run leaders, monthly social runs, free skills sessions (navigation, descending, scree, traversing) held a few times a year at weekends, club championships for fell, trail, uphill and road, team entries for selected races, an athlete development fund, and 15% discount at Kong Sports in Keswick and sportsshoes.com. Tuesday sessions run year-round and vary with the season (hill reps on the fells, fartlek in Fitz Park); Thursday sessions are aimed at more serious runners and take place only in the winter months. Wednesday ladies' runs are informal and mixed ability, usually 8-10km on road, trail and fell, with runners from their 20s to their 70s. Weekly session details are published on the Stack app, with temporary access available to visitors and potential members; runs are also posted on the club Facebook feed and the Keswick Athletic Club Team App, where signing up in advance helps leaders plan.
