Monday club runs meet in main reception at the National Water Sports Centre at 18:45 to run at 19:00, with free parking in the car park outside the centre on club nights; groups usually run at 7:30, 8:00, 8:30 and 9:00 mile pace, plus a steady group that runs at the pace of the slowest runner, and a duty runner helps newcomers find a group. To join a club run you need to be able to run 5 miles continuously. Thursday sessions are Lake tempo sessions at the Water Sports Centre in summer and, in the autumn programme, interval and hill rep sessions starting at 19:00, alternating between flat efforts down the tram line from Wilford Lane Tram Stop and Harrow Road hills; optional social club runs also leave from the same location with a duty runner. Tuesday track sessions are 19:50 for 20:00 at Toot Hill Sports Centre, The Banks, Bingham NG13 8BL, open to all, with efforts set by time rather than distance. Membership is £40 a year via England Athletics using the club's online form (select "Competitive" as athletic status) and includes use of the Water Sports Centre facilities, weekly in-season track sessions and entry to many club races; the club is affiliated to the Midland Counties Athletic Association and UK Athletics, so members avoid the unattached levy, league and cross country races are free to EA-affiliated members, and retail discounts and a monthly newsletter are included.
