Great Yarmouth Road Runners — a run club in Great Yarmouth. England Athletics affiliated club. Activities: cross country, road running, track field. RunAndTalk club (mental-health friendly).
Sessions range from beginner "caterpillars" groups through to hill and speed training, and the club also runs a Couch to 5K programme. Membership costs £39 per year (£29 student, £25 for ages 16/17, £20 second claim, associate or social), including the England Athletics registration fee of £19; the membership year runs 1 April to 31 March, though joining is possible at any time and the minimum age is 16. A free taster session is available, and new members are paired with an existing member through a buddy system. Members also get monthly subsidised social activities, mental health support and help with sponsorship. A free walking group and a pilates group (small fee) are offered for those who do not wish to run.
