Run club in Peterborough
Eye Community Runners (ECR) is a Peterborough-based running club that describes itself as open to all ages and abilities, and which marked its 40th anniversary in 2026. The club runs on Thursday evenings, and members race regularly at parkruns, local road races, the Frostbite League and cross country. There is also a junior section and a Couch to 5k programme.
The site lists membership details, a Health and Safety policy, GDPR information and a contact page, along with a Couch to 5k (C25K) programme, club kit and an EyeTri section. Club competitions include the Club Championships (ladies and men), an Age Grade Competition, club records, the Frostbite League, cross country, and internal trophies such as the Craig Sells 5k Handicap, Glenys Waters Guesstimate and John Henry Massingham Memorial Handicap. Additional running opportunities publicised to members include "Try the Track" sessions, which must be pre-booked, and "Get Fit for the GER" training sessions at Bushfield Sports Centre on alternate Wednesdays from 19:00 to 20:00 with different distances and paces, no booking needed.
