The main session is Wednesday, meeting at 18:45 and ready to run from 19:00, followed by a drink in the clubhouse bar. Newcomers can attend four free sessions before joining; all ages (16+) and abilities are welcome. A Couch to 5K programme for ages 18+ starts on Wednesday 13 May 2026, with online registration. Membership runs to 30 November each year and costs £35 for Full Member (includes England Athletics affiliation), £22 for Second Claim (runners who are first-claim members of another EA-affiliated club) and £22 for Associate Member (non-runners/social); an optional £5 donation is invited and a £10 discount applies from 1 June to 30 November. Joining is via the form on the website with payment by bank transfer. Membership includes club runs and training sessions, club events such as the Pairs Championship, Dream Mile and Race against the Tram, and retailer discounts (Derby Runner, Up and Running, sportshoes.com). Club kit: singlet £20 and long-sleeve top £26, ordered from the men's or ladies' captain.
