Run club in Weybridge
Elmbridge Road Runners is a running club based in Weybridge, Surrey, established in 1982 and affiliated to England Athletics. It welcomes runners of all abilities, from those new to parkrun to experienced marathon runners, with mixed-ability pace groups. A typical session is a group run of about 45โ60 minutes, split into pace groups led by experienced members, alongside track sessions and longer weekend runs.
The club runs five sessions a week: a Tuesday evening club run from Elmbridge Canoe Club with pace groups on different routes; track sessions on Wednesday evening and Thursday morning at Xcel Sports Hub covering intervals, pacing and endurance work; a Thursday evening run meeting at West End, Esher for off-road routes from May to September and at Elmbridge Canoe Club for road routes from October to April; and a longer Sunday morning run at varying locations such as Bushy Park, Richmond Park or the Surrey Hills. Couch to 5K courses run throughout the year, with a ten-week course starting 22 September (details at www.err.club/couch). Prospective members can try up to four sessions free of charge, either by turning up and introducing themselves or by completing the trial form on the website. Annual membership for the 2026/27 season is ยฃ40, running 1 April to 31 March, of which ยฃ23 goes to England Athletics affiliation; second claim membership is ยฃ23. Membership includes access to five club sessions a week, free or subsidised entry to selected club races and discounts at local running shops.
