Driffield Striders

Driffield Striders — a run club in Driffield. England Athletics affiliated club. Activities: cross country, hill fell, road running, track field.

Club nights are Tuesday and Thursday at 18:30 from the Great Driffield AFC clubhouse, with regular away runs from nearby villages in the lighter months (listed on the club calendar). The club enters a cross country league from October with six races at Bishop Wilton, Dalby, Welton, Sewerby, Drewton Woods and its own event at Sledmere. Membership is £30 per year running April to March and includes UK Athletics affiliation, giving cheaper race entry fees, sports shop discounts and access to the club's London Marathon place (allocated via a club system; contact Karen, Club Secretary).
