Run club in Darlington
Darlington Triathlon Club is a multi-sport club founded in 2008 covering swimming, cycling and running in Darlington, County Durham. Running forms one of the three disciplines, with coach-led group sessions aimed at members from first-time beginners to experienced athletes chasing personal bests. Members with the athletics tier can represent the club in running events and cross country leagues.
The club runs coached sessions across the three triathlon disciplines, including endurance runs alongside swims and group rides; no days or times for running sessions are given on the site. Membership for the 2026/27 season (1 April 2026 to 31 March 2027) is £40 a year for standard club membership, reducing to £20 from 1 October 2026, or £65 a year for club membership plus England Athletics affiliation, reducing to £45 from 1 October 2026. The athletics tier adds the ability to represent the club in running events, entry to cross country league events and inclusion in the club London Marathon ballot allocation. Joining is by online registration form, followed by payment confirmation by email and a digital membership ID and welcome pack. Club kit is supplied by Macron through an online club store, and members receive discounts with partners including Up & Running, Start Fitness, Wheelbase, SportsShoes and the Dolphin Centre gym.
