Darlington H & AC — a run club in Darlington. England Athletics affiliated club. Activities: cross country, road running, track field. RunAndTalk club (mental-health friendly).
Training sessions are for members only, though seniors can arrange a two-week trial (2 track and 2 road sessions) via the Contact page, and the site also advises trying sessions during an initial four-week trial before joining. Senior running groups are Senior Endurance 2 (track based) and Senior Endurance 3 (road based); other senior sessions cover speed, hurdles, throws and field events. Membership for 2026-2027 runs April 1 to March 31 and costs £30 Social, £53 Competition, £44 Loyalty (15 years continuous membership), £20 second claim, plus an optional track add-on at £9 per month; road sessions are included in all plans while track sessions cost £4.50 each for Social and Competition members unless a track subscription is taken. Applications are made through the club website form and renewals are paid via England Athletics. A Couch to 5k programme is due to start in early 2026, with a waiting list available on request.
