The road running section trains on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with several groups of varying speeds and abilities, each led by England Athletics "Leadership in Running" coaches. Sessions run from 2 to 8 miles on roads, footpaths and the track. New members from 16 years and up are welcome at any time of year and can try the club for a couple of weeks before committing. Racing is optional: the club competes in Division 1 of the Chiltern Cross Country League (five Saturday fixtures from October to February) and in local, regional and national road events.
