Wangaratta Runners

Wangaratta Runners is an independent, non-profit community running club in Wangaratta, Victoria, incorporated as a recreational running club and affiliated with Athletics Victoria. It aims to build an active, supportive and inclusive community of runners, supporting local running events and charities. The club offers a "Step into Running" introductory coaching option as well as individual and small-group coaching for road and trail running, from 5km distances up to marathon goals.

Membership includes Athletics Victoria registration, which provides insurance for running-related injuries, and gives access to training programs run by the club's coaches. Membership costs $30 for a Social Runner or $90 for Social Runner plus coaching; after joining on a coaching membership, a coach makes contact to arrange a coaching plan. Individual and small-group coaching is available from the club's Athletics Victoria accredited recreational running coaches, and sign-up and payment are handled through the club website.
