Run club in Barnet
Tri London is a triathlon club founded in the mid-1980s, based in London, covering swim, bike and run training for members ranging from novices to Ironman and international age-group competitors. Running is one of the three disciplines, with members running throughout London as part of the weekly training programme, alongside cross country and other events. It is open to adults of all abilities and describes itself as a sociable club as much as a training group.
The club states that members have access to several training sessions per week across the disciplines, including runs around London and a variety of weekend sessions, plus cross country and other races; the website text does not give days, times or meeting points for the running sessions. A Run Coordinator (Sam Birch) sits on the committee and can be contacted about running, and other committee members cover membership, racing and social matters. Membership is joined through the "Join Tri London" page on the website; club fees are set by the committee, and swim sessions carry a separate supplement (from about £40 per month for a Better swim-only membership) which does not apply to running. There are no fitness-level criteria for new members, though some base fitness is recommended. England Athletics affiliated club.
