Highgate Harriers is a north London athletics club founded in 1879, based at the Parliament Hill Fields track. It covers adult running, adult track and field, and young athletes, with coached group sessions three times a week and a competitive programme spanning cross country, road and track. The club also organises open meetings at Parliament Hill and the Night of the 10,000m PBs event.
The club offers three free-to-attend coached group training sessions each week (Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday) for adults, with a free trial run every Tuesday at 19:00 that can be booked through the website. Membership is handled online via WebCollect: a £35 joining fee applies to all new members and includes a club vest posted out, with annual fees (1 April to 31 March, auto-renewing) of £95 first claim, £50 second claim and £25 for full-time students. Membership includes England Athletics registration, free entry to more than 20 club races a year (including Met League cross country, Middlesex and national cross country championships, Southern Athletics League and the Assembly League summer road race series), free and subsidised travel to club races, a weekly newsletter, access to club Spond and WhatsApp groups, a track access scheme giving free training on club nights and discounted use at other times, locker access (£1 deposit), 10 per cent off sportsshoes.com, entry to the club London Marathon ballot and monthly socials.
