Run club in Oak Bay
Speedfarm is a competitive endurance running club based in Victoria, British Columbia, established in 2016. It offers coached group workouts and individual program design for athletes racing distances from 800m to ultra across road, track and trail, training year-round. Sessions are structured parts of a wider seasonal plan and include track, road and tempo work, alongside social runs and a team racing programme.
Group membership costs $50 per month with no startup fee and includes one coached session per week, team kit access, and partner discounts of 10-40% with sponsors. Sessions run Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at 18:00 in three locations across Victoria (Oak Bay, James Bay and Cedar Hill), and new athletes are placed into the appropriate group from their first night. Individualized full coaching is also available from $200 per month. The club suggests runners should already be training consistently and comfortable with structured workouts, with a sub-25 minute 5k given as a readiness benchmark rather than a hard requirement. Prospective members can message the club to arrange a trial workout; contact details are on the club website. The club also promotes the Barnburner 5000 track race. Athletics Canada affiliated club (via AthleticsReg; Cross Country, Marathon & ยฝ Marathon, Road Running, Trail Running).
