Run club in Sydney
Ryde Athletics Centre Inc is a community athletics club based at Dunbar Park in Marsfield, New South Wales, with a history dating back to 1949. It merged its Little Athletics and adult athletics chapters into one club in 2025, so it now covers tots to Under 20s alongside Open, Masters and Social/Community athletes. Weekend club competition is a track and field programme held on Saturday mornings during the season, with optional weekday coaching.
The club states its aims as providing athletics opportunities for people of all ages and abilities, helping athletes improve personal bests and encouraging participation and fitness. Adults can take part through Ryde Masters, Social Athletics at Dunbar, and Open and Concession categories. Competition runs on Saturday mornings during the season (see the club calendar for dates), and registered athletes can opt in to a coaching programme held Monday to Thursday afternoons. Registration for the 2026/27 season is open and is handled online through RevSport, with fees payable at registration; early bird pricing of $10 off per athlete applies to most categories but not to Community (Social) or Multi-Club athletes, and family discounts of $20 to $80 apply when multiple members register in one transaction. Multi-Club athletes joining Ryde as a second club complete an expression of interest form rather than registering through RevSport. Uniforms can be ordered during registration, new members must show proof of age, and several junior age groups are already full with a waiting list.
