Romsey Road Runners — a run club in Romsey. England Athletics affiliated club. Activities: cross country, hill fell, road running, trail running.
Training runs on Monday and Thursday evenings, meeting from 18:20 for an 18:30 start, with four pace-based groups and sessions including intervals, hill efforts and tempo runs (around 6 miles, with most sessions covering about 5km plus recovery breaks). Venues change by season: in winter (Sept–Apr) Mondays at Woodley Village Hall and Thursdays at the Sports Centre at Romsey Rapids; in summer (Apr–Sept) Mondays at Braishfield Village Hall and Thursdays at King Edward VI Preparatory School running track. Reflective kit and a head or body torch are required for winter sessions. Annual membership for FY Apr 26–27 including England Athletics affiliation is £40; club-only membership pricing is available on request. Membership covers all planned training sessions, coaching tips and occasional external coaching, entry to CC6 Cross Country League and CC6/RR10 league races, and discounts on running merchandise at selected retailers. The club also runs a Couch to 5K programme (2026 details to be confirmed), holds an AGM each November and organises the Romsey 5 Mile Beer Race. England Athletics affiliated club.
