Run club in Durham
Phoenix Flyers A.C. is an athletics club in County Durham offering track and field training and coaching. It is open to athletes of all ages and abilities, from competing athletes to people who want to train and keep fit in a supervised environment. Sessions are coached group training at a school running track on two weekday evenings.
Training runs on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 18:15 to 19:30, with a range of groups by ability and age. Places are limited by coaching numbers, so all athletes must book and sign up through Spond, which is also used for updates and short-notice venue changes. Sessions are paid per booking; no refund is given if a member cancels, while club-cancelled sessions can be refunded (excluding admin fees) by emailing phoenixflyersathletics@gmail.com with the session date and booking reference, with refunds processed monthly. Athletes are asked to arrive ready for an 18:15 start, bring a water bottle, and wear high-visibility tops in winter (branded high-viz jackets are sold by the club). Contact is via the website contact form or the club Facebook page. England Athletics affiliated club.
