Adult training is on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, 18:30-20:00, with adults meeting at the all-weather athletics track at Putlands Sport & Leisure Centre; the club states it has groups of differing speeds and standards for every ability. A separate beginners' group meets Monday at 18:30 on the floodlit off-road running track next to Putlands Leisure Centre, open to ages 17 and above (14-16 if accompanied by a parent), with five ability levels from complete beginner and an entry requirement of being able to walk 5 kilometres. The club trains all year round and competes in road running, cross country in winter and track and field leagues in summer. New members are welcome at any time and can join in sessions free for a one-month trial (the beginners' course is advertised as a four-week free trial). Membership fees from July to December 2026 are listed as senior competing £70.50, senior non-competing £47.50, over 60/student/unemployed £63.00 competing or £40.00 non-competing, family at the same address £72.50 and second claim £20.00, with England Athletics membership (£23.00) included in the competing figures.
