The club offers up to three sessions a week. Monday alternates fortnightly between a Run Development session (members only, 18:45, at various places around the city depending on session type, no booking needed, suitable for runners who can run 3 miles without stopping; includes 200m/400m/800m/1600m and 1 mile reps, hill repeats and varied-pace continuous runs) and an indoor strength and conditioning session at 19:00. Wednesday is the Rainbow Run, a tempo session open to members and new runners, meeting outside Gosforth Leisure Centre at 18:45 with no booking required, though new runners are told when they may attend; runners are split into six groups by predicted 5K time, with paces from slower than 12:05 per mile to quicker than 7:42 per mile and distances from 1 to 7 miles. Sunday social runs have been replaced by leader-led runs, which can be on any day at a leader's discretion; these are typically slower and longer, require booking, and are advertised on the Team app and a Leader Led & Ad Hoc Run spreadsheet. Coaching is included in the yearly membership fee; sessions are booked via the club's Spond app. The club also races the North East Harrier League cross country series from late September to March, runs an annual Grand Prix points competition, attends parkruns around the North East on Saturdays, and holds a monthly social on the last Wednesday of the month after the Rainbow Run.
