Monday and Wednesday sessions start at 19:00 from the layby at the Westerlea Hotel: Monday is timed efforts and Wednesday is repeat efforts, both for all abilities. Thursday sessions meet at The Maggot in summer and the Community Centre in winter, with Rookie Road Runners at 18:30 (pre-registered, limited numbers) and an all-abilities session at 19:30 alternating between efforts and easy runs. On the last Thursday of the month a Returning Runners group runs at 19:30 with an extra coach and running buddies, aimed at people who can already run 5k; in winter months there is tea and cake afterwards at 20:30. Rookie Road Runners is a 10-week course for complete novices, planned to run twice a year.
