About

Mansfield Harriers & AC is an athletics and running club in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire, open to all standards from age 9 upwards and named England Athletics Club of the Year 2023. Adult road running and endurance training is split into three groups by ability, from complete beginners to experienced runners. Sessions run from Berry Hill Track and include steady runs, intervals and run/walk sessions.

Senior road running and endurance sessions run on Tuesdays and Thursdays from Berry Hill Track, meeting at the track office/clubhouse. There are three groups: the Mansfield Harriers group (warm-up around 18:15, setting off about 18:30, twice weekly, often the more experienced runners), Mansfield Runners (sessions start 18:00 twice weekly, recommended for intermediate runners and those returning from injury but open to all, with Steve's sessions listed as starting at 17:15 from Berry Hill Track), and Fit To Run on Thursdays only, meeting at the track office at 18:20 for an 18:30 start with run/walk sessions, interval training and steady runs on quiet roads in winter and woods and parks in summer. A coach advises new runners which group suits them on arrival. The first four sessions (first session listed as free) cost nothing; after that it is ยฃ3.00 per session, or free to members. Membership for 2026/27 can be bought online, and track passes are also sold online. The club offers competition in track and field, road running, cross country, fell running and multi-terrain. England Athletics affiliated club.
