About

Leeds & Bradford Triathlon Club is a West Yorkshire triathlon club formed in 2000 from the merger of two local clubs, with coached swim, bike and run sessions at venues across the region. It is open to all levels, from complete novices to international and para-triathletes, and members are not required to take part in all three disciplines — some run only. The club has around 500-600 members aged from 8 to 80+, roughly 43% of whom are female, and it also runs a junior and youth section.

Running is one of the three disciplines covered by the club's coached programme, which runs across the week all year round, including track sessions at facilities also used by the Great Britain squad; specific run session days, times and venues are listed on the club's Regular Schedule and Calendar pages rather than in the text reviewed. Sessions must be booked, and members pay between £2 and £10 per session depending on the type and location. Non-members can attend many sessions as guests up to three times before joining, using 'Guest' tickets on the booking pages. One-to-one coaching is available from club coaches, usually at a discount for members. Membership enquiries: membership@lbt.org.uk; general enquiries: enquiries@lbt.org.uk; head coach: head.coach@lbt.org.uk. The club also organises the Ilkley Triathlon each September and enters a parkrun league. England Athletics affiliated club.
