Run club in Liverpool
Knowsley Harriers AC is a running and athletics club based in the borough of Knowsley, Liverpool, with sessions for adults and juniors. It welcomes athletes of all abilities and sessions are led by a team of club coaches, including track sessions at Kirkby. Training takes place at Kirkby Sports College and the Halewood Environment Centre, and the club also offers a Couch to 5k programme.
Membership starts from £17 per year for adults (£8 for children), and the site states most sessions are free. Membership runs from 1 April to 30 March, with renewals usually starting on 1 March. Newcomers can train with the club for two sessions free of charge before deciding whether to join. The club also runs a Couch to 5k programme and organises races including the Memory Lane Halewood 5k, held on the first Saturday of the month.
