Tuesday and Thursday at 19:00 are the main training nights, with other activity during the week; further training and coaching is available including interval training, strength and stamina, and Pilates. The club covers road, cross country, fell, track and field and triathlon, with adult, junior and veteran (over 35, YVAA-affiliated) sections, plus club championships and member-only events. Beginners are catered for through the Zero to Hero beginners and return-to-running course. To join, prospective members attend an induction session and then sign up online; up to three taster sessions may be attended before deciding. Fees from 2026: £10 joining fee (first year only), seniors £66 per year, second claim athletes £43, students living away £38, family discount £106 plus £23 per person over 10, non-running associates £10; membership includes England Athletics affiliation (worth £19).
