Run club in Coalville
Hermitage Harriers R.C. is a running club based at the Whitwick and Coalville Leisure Centre in Coalville, Leicestershire. It caters for all abilities, with coached road sessions, off-road runs, a social evening run and a monthly track session. Runners do not need to be experienced or elite athletes to join.
Tuesday club nights offer a choice of a coached, structured road-based session or an off-road run led by another club coach and run leader, with sessions designed so all abilities can take part. Thursday is a more social, conversational group run, often starting and finishing from a different location, and is open to members and non-members. Once a month the club uses a local private school running track that it has to itself, with a session set for all abilities and pace groups, running year-round and under floodlights in winter. A first evening is free, after which a nominal club-night fee applies until a person becomes a full member. Enquiries can be made through the contact page on the club website.
