Run club in Bishop Auckland
Evenwood Road Runners is a small road running club established in 1992 in the village of Evenwood, about five miles from Bishop Auckland in County Durham. It is open to adults of all abilities, from beginners to experienced marathon runners, and combines weekly training sessions with races and social activities. Members take part in road races, parkruns and club events, including a 24-hour club relay of 140 miles along the C2C route in 2025.
The club offers weekly training sessions said to suit all levels, plus local races, fun runs and social gatherings. Membership includes UK Athletics affiliation, discounts on running events and kit at various stores, and the chance to represent the club in competitions; no membership price is stated. Prospective members can come along for a trial run before joining.
