The club covers road running, track and field, a track and field league, cross country and race walking, with championship events over all road distances. It was formerly known as Eastern Veterans Athletics Club and is affiliated to the British Masters Athletic Federation (BMAF), which administers masters athletics and national championships. Membership is available as either 1st or 2nd claim, via the application process described on the membership page; benefits include entry to all EMAC competitions, eligibility for selection for Eastern Masters inter-area matches and for Great Britain international events, the BMAF magazine by subscription, and lower-fee entry to BMAF events without needing to prove age group. Club kit with the EMAC logo (crop top, men's cut vest, women's cut vest) costs £21.00 including postage, paid by cheque to EMAC Club Kit, 35 Priory Street, Ware, Herts SG12 0DE, or by bank transfer, with a follow-up email to John Borgars at john.borgars@btinternet.com.
