Run club in Gaspé
The Club de course à pied Gaspésia (CCPG) promotes recreational running on the tip of the Gaspé Peninsula, teaching basic technique and building fitness for safe, long-term running. Activities take place in the Gaspé area and are open to runners of any level who want to improve. The club is sponsored by the non-profit Événements Gaspésia and sanctioned by Athlétisme Québec, and emphasises enjoyment, inclusion and a non-competitive, friendly atmosphere.

The annual membership covers 46 sessions from 21 January to 16 December 2026 at 184 $ (no sessions on 22 and 29 July during the construction holiday) and includes a discount on Événements Gaspésia races; shorter session blocks are also sold (10 weeks for 60 $, 8 weeks for 48 $), and drop-in participation costs 8 $ per session. A 10 $ fee is added at the first registration of the year for Fédération québécoise d'athlétisme membership, which provides insurance for training and events. Registration is online and further contact details are on the club website. Recommended kit: suitable road or trail shoes, water bottle or hydration pack, a post-run snack, a shirt (compulsory) and long clothing for cold weather.
