Run club in Sydney
Cherrybrook Athletics Club is a community athletics centre in Cherrybrook, NSW, affiliated with both Little Athletics NSW and NSW Athletics. Alongside its junior Little Athletics programs it has Seniors (Open), Masters and para-athlete sections, so adults can train and compete. Adult competition takes place on Friday evenings during the summer season at Greenway Park Oval #2, covering track running events as well as field disciplines.
The season runs from September to March (summer athletics season), with Friday evening competition at Greenway Park Oval #2 following a rotating three-week program. Track events include sprints, hurdles, inner track and outer track races, alongside field events; athletes are grouped so they compete against others of similar ability. Senior athletes (U16 and above) and Masters are registered online only, and registrations for the current season are open via the club website. The club is not-for-profit, run by parents, family members and volunteers with support from qualified coaches, and athletes also compete at various Little Athletics NSW and Athletics NSW competitions during the season; contact details are on the club website.
